We would like to thank everyone for their support throughout 2017 – it has been our best year yet!

Brrrr! A British Winter can be bitterly cold and polytunnel gardeners are often left wondering how they can help their plants to stay warm in their beds. So here are some top tips on fighting the frost and keeping the temperature up inside your polytunnel until Spring arrives.

For the first time ever, our Construction Advice Helpline will not be available on Saturday 15^th April and Easter Sunday (16^th April). This is because one of our directors is getting married and we will all be celebrating with the happy couple.

You may or may not know that over the last few months the price of steel has been steadily rising and looks set to continue increasing.

Here at Premier Polytunnels we are currently absorbing the rising cost of steel so as to avoid passing increases onto our customers.

Premier Polytunnels will be closed from 12:30pm on Thursday 22^nd December and will re-open at 8:30am on Tuesday 3^rd January 2017.

The ‘Premier’ team would like to thank everyone for their support throughout 2016 – it has been a very, very busy year. (The production team are ready for a long nap and a few mince pies!)

What our covers are:

1. Thermal Anti Drip polythene films – the preferred cover of UK growers.

2. ‘Clear’ polythene – with a ‘cloudy’ finish due to being diffused. (Diffused = scatters light).

3. Long-lasting – with an expected lifespan of 7-10 years, depending on the thickness.

4. UV resistant – the additives in our polytunnel covers prevent UV degradation for up to 4-5 years.

Here at Premier Polytunnels we are proud to supply the very highest quality polytunnels to many schools throughout the UK.

It is no surprise that polytunnels are so popular with schools as an outdoor classroom is a fantastic space for schoolchildren to learn many subjects that are on the national curriculum in a fun, exploratory way.
