Garden

Designed for home growers and allotment owners, garden polytunnels offer a practical way to extend the growing season and protect plants from the elements. With widths of up to 14ft, they provide plenty of space for growing a variety of fruit, vegetables and plants.

Our garden and allotment polytunnels create a stable environment for healthier crop growth, with the highest-quality polythene cover, a sturdy steel framework and ridge and corner stabilisers to maintain strength in everyday conditions.

Commercial

If you're aiming for larger-scale, more intensive growing, commercial polytunnels are suited to growers producing crops in bulk. All our polytunnel kits are supplied as a complete unit ready for assembly onto a soil base. They all come with Anti Hot Spot Tape and a full Thermal Anti Drip polytunnel cover. Otherwise, contents vary per kit, as follows.

Our standard kits include:

• An all-steel frame made from Z35 high tensile galvanised steel
• Large diameter steel hoops for extra strength and rigidity
• Foundation tubes
• Hoops
• Corner stabilisers
• Ridge

How will my polytunnel be delivered?

All orders are delivered via a national courier service. It's recommended that someone is available at the delivery address on the day to receive the goods.

Standard kits

• Delivered in disassembled bundles and boxes via a national courier
• A typical 10ft x 20ft kit arrives in around 8 packages

Commercial kits

• Delivered on 1–2 pallets by courier
• Pallets can measure up to 3.6m long
• Larger systems can weigh over 1000kg
• If no forklift or lifting equipment is available, at least two people should be present to help unload

How long will my polytunnel take to arrive?

Our garden polytunnels are normally dispatched in 1–3 working days (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays), while our commercial polytunnels are dispatched within 3-5 working days. However, this may increase to approximately 10 working days (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays) during busy periods.

Check our delivery page for up-to-date dispatch times when placing your order. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you would like to make specific delivery arrangements.

What is the life expectancy of a polytunnel?

Our polytunnels are built to last 20+ years. With frames made from Z35 high tensile galvanised steel and polythene developed to withstand UV degradation for 4-5 years and typically last for 8-10 years, you can expect quality that lasts. And the cost of replacement polytunnel covers is minimal.

Do I need planning permission for a polytunnel?

No, typically you don't need planning permission for a domestic size/garden polytunnel. However, there are exceptions to the permitted development regulations, so it's always best to contact your local planning authority if you have any doubts.

If any polytunnels meet any of the following criteria, you should contact your local planning department to determine if planning permission is required:

• If any part of the polytunnel would be forward of the front of the house.
• If it's more than 3m in height.
• If it would be within 2m of the boundary of the site and would be more than 2.5m in height.
• If it results in more than 50% of the area around the house being covered by buildings or structures that were not part of the original house.
• If you intend to construct the polytunnel on a listed building site, it's in a Conservation Area, a National Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or the Norfolk or Suffolk Broads.
